#chocolate (Taken with instagram)

If I have a bad day, a glass of signature chocolate is the easy way out. Especially when the religion forbid you to go for alcohol. Lol :3

And the gifts were not that much, it’s just some accessories and a clutch. I just put each gift in different box so it looks like there’re plenty of them lol. Well it’s not only because of the quantity, but I personally love to have accessories put in a specific boxes. It make it easier to look, pick, and it’s more neat.

My mom turned out to be so happy with this little surprise. It’s amazing how small things like cake and gifts can become so special after they’re surrounded by flower. My dad hates flower and he never give her or any of his daughters. That’s why I insisted to use rose. Sipa was so pessimistic, she said with her poker face “Dad’s gonna throw this away…”

What’s ironic is that Sipa and me have boyfriends that…. kinda hate flower. I rarely saw Sipa with flower. As for me, i guess it’s only 2-3 times Popo gave me flower. All of them were because I asked him to :(

I know I sound narcissistic, but I think I’m getting better in taking picture….. lol

On 2 April, my mom had her 50th birthday. Sipa and I planned to give her a surprise dinner. Luckily  both of my parents had to go to Semarang very early that day then go back to Jogja in the evening. So we had all day to prepare the gift and the dinner surprise.

Plan will always be a plan, on 5 PM, mom called us to say that they’re not gonna make it tonight. So I working on plan B. Having all the presents we gave for her and the cake, surrounded by flowers, on our dinner table. The plan was fro my mom to see this lovely cake, gifts, and flowers when she first got into the house.

And here they are….

And this is Shinta. So it used to be me, Shinta, Mala, and Nisa. We lost contact with Nisa, so it’s just the three of us. We came from different high school and met in a tutorial class. If my memory is correct, we only met 2-3 times a week and we didn’t go out much. But somehow we still are best friends until today.

Shinta is one of the most positive person I know. She never thinks much, but not in impulsive way. Every time there’s problem, she naturally thinks of a solution, instead of blaming others. At some point, I think she just don’t think that the problem might be caused by others. So, yeah… she ends up helping a lot of people, maybe without she even realizes it.

I really believe it it her kindness that somehow bring her luck. She is so lucky in so many aspects. I envy her job. She got a nice job, and some facilities that no fresh graduate can get. Every time we meet, she tells me about how she’s doing and stuff, it’s just a normal chatting between friends, yet she inspires me to always do good thing to others. And once again, I think she doesn’t realize how much she inspires me.

What makes me even sure about that is her comment. Many times Mala and I says how lucky she is with her love life , career, and education. Her respond is “God always bless me.”
